Senior Accounting Analyst
Role:
As a Senior Accounting Analyst, this person will be working under a VP and responsible for will be assisting an accounting and finance team with special projects throughout the business to help transform the organization! This would include assisting with accounting functions including month end, general ledger, reconciliation, working with different cost centers, processing payments for foreign entities, etc. This person will also build up more and more responsibilities over time with helping implement new policies, procedures, upgrading systems, etc. This is a great opportunity to be both hands on accounting but also help with financial transformation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Vice President with accounting functions including general ledger, reconciliations, month end close, etc.
- Work with several cost centers to help with a high volume of booking and reconciling the accounts
- Process payments for foreign entities
- Perform analysis on cost center activities
- Assist the Vice President on several special financial transformation projects
- Be a part of an implementation of Oracle ERP
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- CPA, CIA, or other certifications are a plus
- A mixture of public accounting and corporate accounting is highly preferred
- The ability to work within a team environment as well as independently
- Strong technical background with ERP systems, Excel, etc.
Working Situation:
This is a hybrid working situation with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home remotely. Vaccinations are being required to be considered.
