Job Details:
Corporate Accountant
A mutli-billion dollar publicly traded organization is looking to add a strong Corporate Accountant to their expanding team. The position is responsible for managing the technical accounting - SEC, Contingencies, U.S. GAAP, Research and documentation - as well as work alongside the legal and regulatory teams to help ensure compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- 10-Qs and 10-Ks
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Internal control processes
- Documenting, testing & monitoring of those controls
- SOX compliance
- Special Projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- CPA (or progress towards) and 4+ years public accounting experience or 6-10 years combined public/corporate mixture.
- Strong knowledge of SEC and GAAP (technical accounting)
- Experience in delivery of quality client service
