Job Details:
Mechanical Design Engineer
Design new and innovative machines and assemblies
Provide conceptual design, engineering, and detailing
Support projects and refresh existing designs
Influence and maintain the design standards
Must have:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
3 plus years’ of experience with a proven design engineering background
Machine Design, CAD, 3D, SolidWorks, modeling, drafting, documentation
Design of systems that include considerations for pneumatics, AC, servo motion, sensors, etc.
Deliver cost-effective and timely designs and drawings that meet schedules, budgets, and customer specifications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with GD&T, fabrication processes, jigs and tooling, assembly methods, etc.
Familiarity with file management software, such as Adept or PDM
Experience with change-control practices
Experience in the consumer products industry
