Job Details:
National consulting engineering and architectural firm is looking to add an Electrical Designer to its talented staff!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, or blueprints, using drafting instruments, or computer-aided design tools.
- Assist in developing layouts for electrical circuits and systems for power distribution.
- Work closely with architectural and mechanical designers to ensure a cohesive project.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Possesses a solid technical base with a desire to learn and grow.
- Prioritizes effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures.
- Knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes to generate construction documents
Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience in electrical design preferred
- PE preferred
- Building design experience needed
- Healthcare experience a plus
