Job Details:
Accounting Manager - Remote
Role:
The Accounting Manager will have responsibility over operational expenses and accrual management as well owning close tasks, preparation of financial statements, supporting financial audits, and managing a team of Senior and Staff Accountants.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of our operational expense accounting, including accruals, prepaid expense management and payroll allocations.
- Responsible for intercompany calculations and transfer pricing management.
- Manage payroll, tax and long/short term balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage and review financial statement reporting during the month-end close. This includes creation of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Flux analysis.
- Responsible for close checklist management and consolidations review.
- Act as liaison between the Finance department and marketing, payroll, legal and FP&A.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 6 years of professional accounting experience with 2 years of previous supervisory experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational ability
- Effective corporate communications skills
- Ability to consistently meet all deadline
- Friendly, results oriented, and collaborative
