Job Details:
Senior Financial Planning Analyst
Role:
As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, this individual will report to a Financial Controller and responsible for working with Business unit leaders to influence decisions through financial planning and analysis. This analysis will be focused on P&L, costing, new contracts, new deals, new acquisitions, regional analysis, Financial support to several sites, supply chain analysis, shared costing, variance analysis, as well as proactively finding efficiencies and suggesting optimization solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Financial Controller with financial planning and analysis focused on projects, shared costs, supply chain, pricing, material costs, inventory, profitability, etc.
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, etc.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Perform cash flow analysis to help support business unit leader’s decisions
- Perform profitability analysis, assist with capital budgeting, productivity analysis, reporting, etc.
- Help drive cost efficiencies, process improvements, business planning, profit and loss metrics, etc.
- Be the liaison between engineering, operations, sales, marketing, etc in order to build those relations and communication the analytics
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Masters or MBA is required
- 2+ years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel in the future as needed; It's not required and it's typically under 10% if open to traveling to see the operations
- Certifications are a plus

This will be a Hybrid situation with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.
