ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER (TOP TEN PLACES TO WORK IN CAROLINAS!!!)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Project management for Staff, client contact, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Electrical distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems design.
- Familiarity with mechanical and plumbing engineering design.
- Working alongside our regional office staff in NC and SC.
- Working independently, but in a team setting, to drive projects through design and construction phases.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Electrical Engineering (or similar discipline).
- A history of project design experience in the Engineering and Architectural industry.
- At least 8 years of applicable industry experience.
- Licensed PE (NC preferred).
- Knowledgeable in NEC, IBC, NFPA and building codes and technical specifications.
- USGBC LEED certification / sustainable design experience, a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Growth and leadership mindset – expectation is that the candidate will quickly grow into a team managerial role.
- Commercial, institutional, governmental, and/or healthcare facilities design knowledge.
- Water / wastewater industry design knowledge is preferred.
- Standby power, mission critical, data network, communications systems design, SCADA design skills.
- Instrumentation and control design skills are preferred.
- AutoCAD / MicroStation / Revit (CAD3D) / BIM abilities preferred.
