Controls Engineering Estimator - Consumer Packaged Goods/Food & Beverage
Premier automation integration firm seeks Controls Engineering Estimator with experience in the CPG or Food & Bev industries.
Responsible for the estimating and concept engineering related to automated control systems:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Bill of materials development
- Interpret project specs
- Network architecture/diagrams
- Estimate hours for hardware/software design
- Develop formal proposals
- Experience in control systems engineering and estimation for industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food & Beverage, Life Sciences or similar process controls environments
- Bid meetings, site walk throughs (light travel 5%)
- Technical writing proficiency
- Knowledge of contract documents and terms and conditions
- Experience in PLC & HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting across major platforms
- Client interaction skills
