LAB SCALE UP ENGINEER
New Jersey manufacturer and filler of cosmetic & personal care products is seeking a Lab Scale Up Engineer.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years in industry
- Experience with process scale up on the pilot plant or laboratory scale
- Ability to interpret and organize lab scale data
- Ability to develop experimental plans and determine data necessary to support higher level business objectives
- Experience developing scalable models and designing experiments to gather data for validation
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Ability to work remotely and contribute to the technical team using online communication tools
- Ability to interpret and modify process and instrumentation diagrams (PIDs)
- Ability to prioritize and shift gears in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to practical problems.
- A highly motivated team player.
- Must be flexible with the ability to change, adapt and grow.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check and pre-employment physical.
