My client is a highly regarded Fortune 100 company that is actively seeking an Audit Manager.  They are looking for someone to join the team at the central headquarters in Milwaukee.   Here are the details:

The Internal Audit - Data Analytics Manager is responsible for providing leadership, strategic and technical insights and direction to lead and manage the Internal Audit Data Analytics (DA) Program. This position will be responsible for facilitating the technical and analytical support to the broader internal audit department in executing audit engagements, advisory and initiatives utilizing Robotic Process Automation (RPA), DA and Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM). This individual will engage cross functionally with technology leaders, global audit teams, management auditee stakeholders, internal audit department leadership, and external resources; and build and maintain relationships with data and system owners in the business and technology teams to facilitate understanding and access to data necessary to achieve data analytics objectives. This is a highly visible position requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills and the experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
How you will do it
• Lead internal audit’s data analytics strategy and initiatives including supporting all functional areas of Internal Audit.
• Manage the team in delivering foundational components of a sustainable DA and RPA program (training, processes, infrastructure, and toolsets among other key enablers).
• Communicate the data requirements and ensure IA receives access to the source information needed, understanding of the data relationships to the business processes.
• Manage DA program governance activities including data validation, data storage, analytics documentation protocol, proper security and maintenance of analytics deliverables.
• Manage program operations including allocate work load and provide guidance and direction to meet the goals of the program.
• Establish clear roles and responsibilities between the DA team and key stakeholders in the use of DA, RPA and CCM.
• Support the department innovation objective, to address emerging priorities of the data analytics leadership team as well as audit team requests to deliver new analytic products and services, while balancing delivery and execution of requests in the DA Dashboard.
• Engage in the risk assessment and audit planning with each Audit Manager, and monitor the pre-planning of audit projects to ensure analytics are included at appropriate stages of the audits.
• Assist audit teams with the use of inquiry of key systems to facilitate understanding of data in the business process.
• Train, educate and upskill the broader audit department on the value and approach to perform analytics with the aim to help staff become autonomous relating to analytics.
Qualifications
What we look for
• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in management information systems or information technology. Data Science degree or certifications a plus, but not required.
• At least 7+ years in a role utilizing DA, demonstrating increasing responsibility and complexity of projects. Experience developing and executing an Internal Audit DA strategy a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in presenting data and conclusions.
• Analytical and process oriented with proven ability to drive accountability and results.
• Experience with predictive analytics and statistical models/methods (Time-series analysis, regression analysis).
• High level proficiency with scripting in ACL or other data mining tools.
• Working knowledge of modelling/development software (R, Python, Weka, Scikit-learn, Numpy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter Notebook, Spark MLlib, TensorFlow, Theano, Keras, and PyTorch).
• Experience querying Hive data using Ambari Web UI and/or Hortonworks data connectors.
• Experience with developing visualizations in Power BI or Tableau.
• Working experience with relational database technologies (Oracle, MS SQL server).
• Working experience with financial reporting and analytic tools (Hyperion Financial Management or Oracle Discoverer).
