Senior Technical Accountant (Remote)
Role:
The Senior Technical Accountant will report to an Financial Reporting Manager and be primarily responsible for working on the organizations SEC filings, regulatory reporting, and technical accounting. This individual will also be working with a consolidations team, revenue recognition, and financial analysis departments.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Financial Reporting Manager to help the team prepare the organization's SEC Filings (10-K / 10-Q)
- Prepare financial statement preparation, disclosures, reporting, and assisting with closing the books
- Prepare quarterly consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and statements of changes in equity
- Prepare and review the monthly consolidation and reporting of financial and operational results, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information
- Coordinate and perform analysis and interpretation of revenue and expense variances
- Work cross functionally with consolidations, corporate decision support, and financial analysis
- Ensure support to key stakeholders, including Internal Audit, Asset Management, Investor Relations and FP&A as needed
- Continually evaluate system processes across the organization and lead projects to streamline and improve internal and external reporting
- Participate in special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of relevant auditing or public accounting experience with publicly traded clients and/or within a publicly traded organization. Would consider someone with corporate SEC experience as well.
- A completed CPA or CMA; progress towards is highly preferred

This can be 100% remote position.
