Job Details:
My client is an international Construction Management and Design/Build firm. They are looking for an Engineering Manager who has specialized in Federal DOD projects. You will oversee the Design/Build Team. Here are additional responsibilities:
• Manage company programs and/or projects related to design/build, both at the home office and at the project location.
• Lead team on preparation and oversight of design/build contracts.
• Oversee subcontractor engineering firms – all disciplines.
• Prepare contract drawings and specifications in conjunction with the Design Team.
• Represent company in project meetings; design charrettes and preconstruction conferences; oral presentation experience required.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate final construction design packages.
• Develop and train junior staff.
• Assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Four (4) year degree in architecture or engineering.
• Professional Engineer Registration a plus.
• Extensive (10 or more years) experience of design, construction and management required.
• Federal project experience required.
• Design/Build experience required.
• United States citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
