SHIFT SUPERVISOR (2nd Shift)
New Jersey based manufacturer/distributor of cosmetic & personal care products is looking for a full-time, experienced, and dependable Shift Supervisor (2nd Shift) to become part of our Management Team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment (cosmetic/personal manufacturing preferred)
· Knowledge of Safety and Quality Good Manufacturing Practices
· Managing associates fairly and effectively
· Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues independently
· Communicate Results and Issues to other team members
· Be dependable
· Willing to learn
Direct Responsibilities include:
· This position is directly responsible for the oversight of 40 – 70 union and temporary associates and eight production and packing lines.
· Accurate and timely reporting of key information
· Ensuring lines are operating at standard output.
· Ensuring quality standards are met
· Receiving bulk ingredients
· Electronically Approving Time sheets
