Senior Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing (MEP) Manager
My client, a well established A&E firm have an immediate need to add a talented Engineering Manager to their team. This individual will be charged with managing the activities of the MEP team for their NJ and NYC locations.
**SUPERB OPPORTUNITY TO MOVE INTO A PARTNERSHIP ROLE**
MUST HAVES!
- BSME Engineering or related field
- MUST HAVE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING LICENSE
- Minimum of 10 years in a consulting/MEP environment
- Superb people management skills (provide mentor ship, oversee junior designers, manage team)
- Excellent organizational skills (ensure deadlines are met, budget management)
- Strong design skills
- Well versed in NYC building codes
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit/BIM
- Highly knowledgeable about mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire protection disciplines
- Ability to perform cost estimating, engineering proposals, assist with marketing activities and business development, prepare project invoicing, etc.
