Structural Engineer
Exciting and expanding engineering firm looking for a talented and experienced Senior level Structural Engineer with a strong understanding of construction, design, inspection, or estimating and budgeting
Job Duties
• Manage projects related to structural design
• Manage, assist and guide engineering team including project engineers, drafters, and other essential personnel
• Create proposals and budgets
• Monitor, assist and sign off on designs for assigned projects
• Check calculations and specifications from work of other engineers
• Preform structural investigations
• Maintain deadlines and budgets
• Commute with other company departments as needed
• Design work
Requirements/Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of work experience as a Structural Engineer
• PE license
• Strong knowledge and understanding of industry codes, standards and regulations
• Understanding of structural construction, budgeting, and estimating
• Forensic and testimony experience
• Ability to travel to client/construction sites as needed
• Strong communication and people skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Some supervisory experience
