Manager of Compensation
Role:
As a Manager of Compensation, this person will be responsible for support the total rewards division and the organization's compensation programs. This would include being the go to expert on all compensation matters including salary guidance, talent retention, internal equity, market compensation, competitive analysis, policies, procedures, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Help administer, plan, develop and implement a successful and competitive executive compensation program
- Be a part of the company’s equity compensation plans, including equity approval protocols, documentation, and implementation a process for review and approval of grant awards.
- Perform annual benchmarking and market analysis to ensure the organization is competitive
- Review survey participation for the executive leadership roles.
- Oversee analysis related to cost and trends and provide analytical data management support for measurement and tracking of key HR-related metrics.
- Manager the merit program with any increases, changes, etc. Recommend and enhance current programs, policies, and processes for both short-term and longer-term business needs and goals. Model potential impact of design changes
- Partner with HR Business Leaders, Operations, Management, and other professionals to recommend salaries, salary grades, titles, structure, etc.
- Work with Accounting and finance to help prepare annual budgets, forecasts, audits, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher is required; Master's degree or MBA are highly preferred
- 6+ years of compensation experience
- Ability to operate at both the strategic and operational levels (i.e., strategic thinking and ability to operationalize) to drive results
- Work independently and effectively manage projects from inception through execution
- Certifications are highly preferred (CCP, CEP, or similar certifications)
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills
