Business Process Analyst (remote optional) Long term contract
My client has hired me to find for them a business process analyst.
We are looking for a Senior Business Process Analyst to join our Information Technology team. You will be integral for our effort to improve functionality, efficiency, and integration of IT solutions.
Reporting to the Manager Application Delivery, you will serve as a liaison between the business and the Information Technology team to assist in the identification and execution of IT solutions to support business goals. You will work on all aspects of system implementation to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and end-user needs. Primary activities include gathering requirements and developing the objective for system implementations. You will conduct testing and ensure the developed solution meets the business need. This role will work across the organization and will be key in helping the organization meet its goals through the development and use of IT systems.
Gather, review, and analyze business systems and user needs:
Work directly with the business and end-users to understand current and desired business processes
Identify and design business/system improvement opportunities
Organize, maintain, and store requirements in central repository
Perform gap and issue analysis
Support cross-functional cooperation
Build strong working relationships across business unit/operating teams
Process creation and documentation:
Work with the IT team to turn the business requirements into solutions
Ensure all information and technology solutions and services meet Company standards and user requirements
Document company processes and workflows
Develop new process documentation
Support solution execution:
Meet internal task and milestone dates
Communicate project progress, issues, or concerns
Ensure testing is properly completed and solution meets requirements
Analyze solution performance:
Communicate regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements, and changes to the system
Monitor usage and manage follow-up concerns/issues
Continually seek ways to enhance the end‐user experience.
An undergraduate degree, and around 5 years of experience in Business/Systems analysis, including experience evaluating user requirements and documenting system processes. Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple, unique assignments simultaneously.
