Job Details:
My client is a well regarded construction management firm who is currently seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for an ongoing airport terminal position. The person hired will be involved in the overall supervision of the electrical and low voltage system, installation, commissioning and testing functions. Working with electrical contracting division, you will ensure compliance with approved specs and drawings. Additional duties include:
- Carry out and document all tasks associated with the pre-commissioning / commissioning of all electrical and low voltage systems and troubleshooting emergency electrical issues during the functional or integrated testing phases.
- Responsible for interpreting/validating relay and apparatus testing results satisfying latest standards, procedures and guidelines. Plans, performs, and documents the commissioning of various control and power circuits to ensure the intended operation and safety of equipment and personnel are met.
- Maintains familiarity with appropriate engineering and construction codes to ensure compliance with applicable codes.
- Conducts daily quality control site visits to ensure adequacy of contractor methods. Evaluates contractor procedures, starting and completion times, and testing requirements for each phase of construction.
- Actively track, monitor, research validity and compliance with Contract documents for all work from inception to final closure.
- Attend the project Commissioning meetings
- Assists in the turnover and training process.
Looking for a degreed engineer who can multi-task. CAD a plus. Cx Alloy TQ knowledge a plus!
