Senior IT Auditor
Role:
As a Senior IT Auditor, you will be reporting to the Director of Audit and be joining a team of auditors that work cross functionally with different operating business units to help them make sure proper controls are in place and making sure there is a focus on the impact of information technology systems on the overall organization's processes. This person will perform IT related audits, perform consulting/advisory work for the IT department, and assist with IT SOX related work along the way.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop of audit scope
- Perform advisory work and consult on project work for information technology
- Assist Audit Manager with complex audits; more specifically targeted towards the organization's SOX program
- Act as a partner to IT to help identify value add opportunities
- Act as a key point of contact and campaign for effect internal controls and governance
- SOX Testing, design, operations, reporting and ensure proper SOX documentation
- Work cross functionally with Finance, accounting, and operations on special projects
- Mitigate risk by proactively identifying business risk
- Responsible for executing complex technology audit (IT Audits) within several platform
- Assist IT Audit team members to develop data strategies for the audit programs
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology
- 3+ years of IT auditing within a mid-size to large organization
- 6+ years of prior public accounting advisory experience would also be considered
- CPA, CIA, CISA and / or relevant certifications are a huge plus
- Relocation assistance for the right individual will be offered for this role.
- Minimal travel required - 5-10%
