Job Details:
Senior Revenue Accountant
Role:
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you'll be working with a Controller and responsible for all revenue related accounting which includes month end close, account analysis, journal entries, reporting, controls, derivative accounting, as well as assist with general ledger, process improvements, inventory and supply chain accounting, etc. This is a highly visible opening with the opportunity for growth!
Responsibilities:
- Work with the controller on month end close responsibilities; revenue accounting month end close responsibilities.
- Perform account reconciliations, account analysis, journal entries, and reporting.
- Prepare regulatory and internal reports to be consistent with GAAP.
- Work cross functionally to help drive process improvements.
- Be a backup and resource to other accounting functions such as General ledger, fixed assets, inventory, supply chain, etc.
- Work within the ERP system to generate reports.
- Mentor other accountants
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required in Accounting or Finance discipline
- CPA or progress towards is a plus.
- 4+ years of prior corporate accounting within a mid-size or large corporate accounting team within a manufacturing or similar industry
- Prior public accounting experience is a huge plus as well.
Working Conditions:
This will be a remote position through October. This will have the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week after COVID.
