Job Details:
My client is a well regarded MEP Consulting engineering firm. They are seeking a mid-level to Senior level Electrical Engineer to do design, engineering and Project Management. They are urgently looking for an electrical engineer that can lead 3 young electrical engineers and sign/seal electrical plans. Someone with 8-10 years experience minimum, preferably more that is looking to take the next step into more of a leadership position. Additional duties include:
- Develop electrical system designs of a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs
- Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of electrical systems for a variety of market types
- Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing electrical systems
- Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
- Writing/editing project specifications
- Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
- Code compliance research
- Coordinating work with other disciplines
- Providing construction administration services
- Performing QA/QC of design work
- Overseeing and providing guidance to junior engineers
- Leading project teams and serving as the primary contact for clients
- Assisting in the procurement of new work; including the development of client relations and participation in project interviews
