Senior Fixed Asset Accountant
70-90K and Bonus
Role:
As a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant, you'll be working with a Controller and responsible for all fixed asset accounting which includes month end close, account analysis, journal entries, reporting, controls, as well as assist with general ledger, process improvements, and revenue accounting. This is a highly visible opening with the opportunity for growth!
Responsibilities:
- Work with the controller on month end close responsibilities; revenue accounting month end close responsibilities.
- Perform account reconciliations, account analysis, journal entries, and reporting.
- Prepare regulatory and internal reports to be consistent with GAAP.
- Work cross functionally to help drive process improvements.
- Be a backup and resource to other accounting functions such as General ledger, revenue, inventory, supply chain, etc.
- Work within the ERP system to generate reports.
- Mentor other accountants
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required in Accounting or Finance discipline
- CPA or progress towards is a plus.
- Prior hands on experience and progressive growth within an organization is preferred
- 4+ years of prior corporate accounting within a mid-size or large corporate accounting team within a manufacturing or similar industry
- Prior public accounting experience is a plus
Compensation:
A competitive compensation packed will be available for this position including base salary, bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, etc.
Working Conditions:
This will be a hybrid working situation with 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days work from home.
