Automation Engineer - remote in Kansas City area
Top five automation systems integration firm has a rare opening for a remote Controls Engineer with PLC/HMI programming in the Kansas City area.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- PLC programming from scratch (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc)
- HMI programming from scratch (Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk View)
- Historian config
- PowerFlex Drives
- Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, Water/wastewater and/or consumer packaging industry experience preferred
- Years of experience in automation and controls engineering (ideally systems integration)
- 25-30% travel
- SCADA systems
- Control panel design
- Process instrumentation experience
- Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.
- Client interaction skills
