INTERIOR DESIGNER
Summary:
Seeking a qualified Interior Designer with proven, hands-on retail project experience to work in our client’s New York City office. Successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and relationship building skills. The Interior Designer will work with other designers and senior project management and should be able to develop design concepts, produce documents of excellent quality, source materials, and participate in client presentations and business development.
Qualifications:
Accredited degree in interior design
7-10+ years of experience with portfolio work including retail projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (Revit a plus)
Ability to lead client presentations, programming, design development, experience with material selection, interior detailing, space planning, furniture and fixtures
Proven rendering skills
Strong verbal and graphic presentation skills
Ability to clearly communicate design ideas
NCIDQ certification a big plus
