Job Details:
My client is a Fortune 100 company that is involved in the building systems and energy management field. They are seeking a Structural Engineer to be the Engineering Supervisor with about 6 direct reports. This person will will lead their Louvers R&D teams to develop new product introductions for a variety of high velocity wind driven rain and hurricane missile impact applications. This position is responsible for setting design principles and managing a team of engineers & designers to meet the sales new product concept. You will need to promote technical guidance, sound engineering principals, effective use of facilities, and maintain organizational standards. Basically they custom engineer and fabricate louvers for Commercial and Industrial buildings (sort of like the vents you see on HVAC Chiller units) so they are making a product not a building or a bridge but people who have done Structural Buildings would fit because they are ultimately going on buildings. PE is a major plus.
