HVAC Project Manager
Northern New Jersey based HVAC mechanical construction contractor is seeking a Project Manager
The Mechanical Project Manager position will be responsible for the management of HVAC Construction Projects.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, exhibit great attention to detail and possess top-flight organizational skills.
Primary Job Functions:
Direct and manage HVAC Mechanical projects from beginning to end.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
Oversee Job Cost Financials, Billings, Procurement and cost documentation
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other senior management.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Regular attendance and timeliness
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the commercial HVAC/mechanical contracting industry
A minimum of an Associate’s degree
Current knowledge of HVAC Mechanical products and services
Strong work ethic & ability to work well in a team environment
Strong Communication and Writing Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
Proficient in Mechanical Contracting estimating software
