Senior Medical Director -Medical Communications- (Work Remote/Virtual)
Promotional Medical Education – Medical Affairs- Healthcare Communications
Our medical communications client is actively looking to add an experienced Medical Director or Senior Medical Director to the team due to business growth. Individuals will have a firm foundation in promotional medical education or medical affairs.

Position responsibilities & attributes sought:
- This role will provide oversight of all medical aspects for assigned clients including strategy, planning, and implementation on behalf of clients
- Provided strategic scientific support for business development initiatives
- US & global experience a plus
- Staff management & leadership experience desired
- Work collaboratively with the scientific affairs team to ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical/scientific content
- Interaction with faculty, clients and key opinion leaders (KOL’s)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Launch experience desired
Qualifications:
- MS, PhD, PharmD, MD, advanced degree with at least five (5) or more years of progressive experience within a medical communications agency
- Diverse therapeutic experience a plus; rare disease, cardiovascular or oncology experience a plus
- Experience managing staff/direct reports a plus
- Leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Microsoft proficient (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software)
