Tax Advisory Manager
As a Tax Advisory Manager, you'll be managing a team of tax advisory professionals that are advising and assisting small to middle market organizations run their businesses. Essentially, you'll direct tax professionals and manage the client engagements. You'll lead the tax team and help them be consultants to the business owners regarding any tax implications, tax strategies, due diligence, oversee any research as well as resolve complex issues, help direct the development of long-term strategic plans, as well as building out the team. This role will have business development responsibilities as well.
Responsibilities:
- Develop client relationships; business development
- Develop a team of staff and senior tax professionals
- Manage client engagements and teams assigned to engagements
- Full oversight of Individual, Partnership, High Net Worth and Corporate returns
- Development and implement tax strategies
- Implement tax planning strategies
- Drive negotiations if needed
- Present and propose solutions / presentations to client issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master's is a plus
- 8+ years of relevant public accounting or public / corporate mixed tax experience
- CPA is required
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (both as a team leader and team member)
