Software Engineer
My client has an opening for a Sr Software Engineer. They are open for full time or contract. The role is fully remote at the moment and offers 2 days WFH post Covid. They are seeking a candidate that has experience with Java and Python. You don't have to be expert level with both.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be surrounded by best-in-breed engineers who are well versed in Python, Java, SQL, and AWS. Role will involve the following:
- Master the overall platform architecture
- Assist the other engineers who are constantly moving forward on feature requests.
- Lead the adoption of the latest technologies for scaling our data-driven platforms.
- Deploy and monitor AWS infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have
- 3-5 years of experience as a software engineer in a fast-paced, web-centric environment.
- Experience with Python and Java.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is preferred
- Experience with high-volume web applications, services, and infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
