Automation Control Systems Engineer
Automation Control Systems Engineer - you will be responsible for leading and/or contributing to the detailed hardware and software design of process automation control systems projects. You will develop software design specifications, programming PLC and SCADA applications, configure client server applications, provide control system startup and commissioning services, troubleshooting existing control systems, work on projects from concept through commissioning phases.
Provide control systems design and development, develop proficiency in several programming languages and control device networks for PLCs, PCs. Interact with customers to gain an understanding of the business environment. Defines the scope, plans and deliverables for assigned work. Work successfully in a team environment; focused strongly on customer service and continuous improvement.
Automation engineering design, programming, and testing for configuration of the plant Process Control System (PCS) from Conceptual Design through Commission & Qualification on projects. Programming experience in one or more of the following platforms: Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, GE, and Wonderware. Rockwell experience with products such as: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx, FactoryTalk Software Suite, Studio 5000, PLC5, SLC500, RSView, PanelView Plus, etc. Other PLC platform experience (GE, Siemens, Modicon), SCADA and HMI package experience (e.g. Proficy and Wonderware), working knowledge of control system networks, e.g. Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.
Prefer knowledge and experience of Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Pharma, GMP and Validation, knowledge of S88 Batch standards and systems. Open to regional 15% travel.

5 years' experience. Engineering Degree, Associates degree, or previous working experience in the Life Sciences Industry. Pharmaceutical, Bio-technology, food and beverage, or other related GMP or FDA regulated industries. Relocation assistance available.
