Product Manager
 
My client is looking for an outstanding Product Manager to lead its business operations and engineering teams in building and maintaining end-to-end solutions that drive warehouse automation decisions.  

The ideal candidate will have a track record of building teams that span both business and technical competencies, gathering business requirements and creating data-driven solutions that have measurable customer impact, and demonstrating exemplary written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will have to set the right vision, strategy and roadmap, build and develop their team, and work alongside stakeholders in the organization to make it happen.

The candidate has successfully built technology products that automate operation processes and/or provide users with experiences they love. This candidate is able to synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities, and translate them into tools and intelligence that solve specific fulfillment operation pain-points.
Responsibilities:

    Manage, develop, and grow a team required to create products and services that drive actionable business insights to answer business questions, drive business decisions, and develop recommendations to improve operations
    Establish product goals and develop roadmaps. Govern product development efforts, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, and launch efforts
    Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences
    Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value
    Productize the data and information platforms that drive decisions across a global set of stakeholders and feed long-term automation / machine learning capabilities
    Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions
    MBA or Master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics or other business/analytical disciplines, with seven years of related work experience
        Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

    Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics or other business/analytical disciplines, with ten years of related work experience
    7+ years of technical product management experience
    Experience managing a team of leaders, including hiring, development, and performance management
    Excellent communication skills to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner
    Experience in manufacturing, material handling, intralogistics and/or warehouse automation is a must.
    Experience with equipment and systems such as Conveyors, AGVs, AMRs, shuttle-based systems, robotic piece picking, a major plus
