Senior Auditor

Role:
Are you looking to accelerate your career faster than any traditional public accounting firm or industry alternative, while working an average 48 hour work week and on average receiving 15-20% more in total compensation in your first year of service?
A public accounting and advisory firm is expanding their regional Philadelphia presence and looking to add a Senior Auditor / Senior Accountant to their team. This position will allow you to gain valuable work experience with large domestic and global organizations, be on engagements for a longer period of time (6-12 months) than a typically audit assignment, and still work less hours!
Work responsibilities would vary depending on the client engagement but will include auditing, accounting, process improvements and optimization, management reporting, acting as a controller / mini CFO, SEC Audits, assisting with Divestitures, carve outs, IPO's, M&A integration, post integration mergers, system implementations, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Work with all levels of employees and be a cross functional liaison with different departments
- Work on a variety of client engagements across multiple industries and perform various roles to expand and build your career
- Act as a controller / mini CFO sharing your knowledge and expertise with executives and leadership
- Be a part of critical strategic initiatives to drive process improvements and efficiency
- Special Projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- At least 3 years of public accounting or advisory experience and/or a blend of public and corporate accounting experience.
- A CPA, CIA or Masters is highly preferred.
- Prior experience auditing or working for a publicly traded company is a plus
