Jr-Mid AWS Cloud Engineer
Summary: We are looking for an Jr-Mid AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, you will contribute to improvements to our cloud infrastructure. You will see the outcome of your work through improved reliability of the system, as well as through improved developer experience for other teams within the organization. Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and an interest in building cloud infrastructure are essential.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field
Required Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field. 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Responsibilities
Maintain and evolve cloud infrastructure in AWS Cloud.
Work collaboratively with other engineering teams responsible for building the applications and services that sit atop the cloud infrastructure.
Contribute to infrastructure improvements that will make all of engineering teams more efficient.
Minimum Qualifications:
4 years of experience in the software engineering field. This can come in the form of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field. Alternatively, it can come in the form of less education with some experience in the workplace building software. What we are looking for here is some exposure to the software engineering domain and some time spent refining your problem-solving abilities.
An interest in maintaining and automating cloud infrastructure.
Experience with a general purpose programming language.
Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Powershell a plus.
