Principal Process System Lead
Role:
As a Principal Process Systems Lead, this person will be leading the development and implementation of aftermarket cutting edge engineering processes and systems. This would include with a team of engineers to help find opportunities to streamline and improve work, processes, tools, and automated solutions. This could be product line additions, growth within the sector, market expansion, and driving strategies. With Lean Six Sigma in mind, the ultimate goal is to drive process improvements, cost optimization, maximizing performance, and maintaining reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Work with management in order to influence, communicate and drive lean six sigma strategies, process improvements, systems improvements, continuous improvements, etc.
- Work to streamline, prioritize and develop new tools and automated systems
- Lead the implementation of new strategies, processes, and systems
- Manage projects, project teams, resources, budgets, scheduling, and planning
- Diagnose problems and difficult circumstances in order to thoroughly resolve the issue
- Lead and mentor junior and staff level engineers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is a huge plus
- Prior turbomachinery (turbines, compressors, high speed rotating equipment, etc.) experience is a huge plus
- Lean Six Sigma Certification - preferably a black belt
- Prior experience working cross functionally with all levels of employees; presenting to executives and/or the board of directors
