Senior Medical Director -Medical Communications- (Work Remote/Virtual)
Promotional Medical Education – Healthcare Communications
An excellent medical communications client focused within promotional medical education is actively looking to add an experienced Senior Medical Director to the team due to business growth. Individuals will have a progressive scientific background with a firm foundation in promotional medical education directing client strategy, staff mentoring/management with the ability to lead an assigned scientific team in content creation as well as participate as this role is not simply staff management.

Position responsibilities & attributes sought:
- This role will provide oversight of all medical aspects for assigned clients including strategy, planning, and implementation on behalf of clients
- Provided strategic scientific support for business development initiatives
- US & global experience a plus
- Strong staff management & leadership experience
- Work collaboratively with the scientific affairs team to ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical/scientific content
- Interaction with faculty, clients and key opinion leaders (KOL’s)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Launch experience desired
Qualifications:
- MS, PhD, PharmD, MD, advanced degree with at least six (6) or more years of progressive experience within a medical communications agency
- Diverse therapeutic experience a plus; rare disease or high science experience a plus
- Experience managing staff/direct reports a plus
- Leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Microsoft proficient (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software)
