Senior Medical Writer - Associate Scientific Director
Medical Communications – Promotional Medical Education- Healthcare Communications- Medical Affairs
This is a full time permanent staff position offering flexibility and a mix of work from home and in the office
A well-established Medical Communications client of ours based in Central New Jersey, specializing in promotional medical education is actively in search of a senior medical writer or associate medical director that will be hands on in content development.

- This role is promotional medical education / medical communications focused.
Duties associated with this role will include but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to gain up to date knowledge of the therapeutic area(s) assigned, marketplace and competition
- Strong content development experience for advisory boards, speaker training programs, slide decks/slide kits, agendas, discussion guides, medical letters, etc.
- Client interaction & presenting, involvement with med legal review, aid in strategic planning for assigned accounts, and in new business pitch work.
- Excellent communication skills are required as this role will interact with clients, team members, faculty & KOL’s and executive leadership
- Excellent time management, multitasking and ability to deliver projects on time
- Ability to work with internal staff and departments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
Qualifications:
- Qualified individuals will have a PhD, PharmD advanced degree with at least (2) two or more years of medical writing experience within a medical communications agency with a strong foundation in promotional medical education
- Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Microsoft proficient (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software)
- Ability to work both independent and as a team member
