ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - RENEWABLE ENERGY (EPC)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer who wishes to work in the thriving solar industry. Responsibilities includes design, create, and review Solar PV electrical drawings, providing support to our project management and business development team on technical requests. This position will report to our Director of Engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with preferred emphasis in software integration and automation, and industrial controls
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Solar/Electrical industry, PE Preferred
- Strong knowledge of photovoltaic systems, NEC requirements, construction practices
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and networking architecture DNP3, Modbus, SEL equipment. Computer Skills: Experience with Solar design programs, AutoCAD is a must,
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills, willingness, and ability to multi-task, and have attention to detail
- Basic knowledge and understanding of storage & battery systems
- NABCEP certification is a major bonus for compensation
