Regional Cost Accounting Analyst
Lansdale, PA
Role:
As a Regional Cost Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible assisting the Cost Controller with month end, year end, standard costing, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, forecasting, budgeting, inventory, controls, as well operational analysis for several regional manufacturing sites. This would include cross functional work with Audit, IT System Teams, corporate accounting, and finance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Cost Controller with month end and year end for a regional of manufacturing sites
- Direct all activities related to cost accounting for those regional sites
- Support the annual budget and monthly forecast process
- Ensure proper use of the ERP Cost module with regard to direct labor and material
- Analyze and report job costs for all product lines
- Establish and maintain direct labor rates, overhead rates, FIFO, inventory, etc.
- Work heavily within Microsoft Excel to manage, develop, and report on data stored in the organization's database
- Oversee and assist with ERP system and maintenance.
- Work cross functionally with corporate accounting, internal and external audit, finance, operations, etc.
- Special Project as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required in Accounting or Finance discipline
- CPA, CMA or progress towards is a plus
- 4+ years of prior accounting within a mid-size or large manufacturing organization; Prior public accounting experience with manufacturing clientele will be considered
- The ability to interact with all levels of employees from the manufacturing floor to the executive level
Working Conditions:
This will be a remote position through at least Quarter 3 of 2021. It's a fluid situation, after COVID-19, this individual will have the opportunity to both work from home and in the office a few days a week.
