Project Sales Engineer - Mechanical Engineer
- Develop a client base to include architects, engineers, owners, construction managers, general contractors, and vendors. Maintain written documentation on each client.
- Work with clients, architects, engineers, owners, construction managers, general contractors, and vendors to sell work that is preferable to the business plan.
- Prepare and report on periodic goals and budgets for the design department.
- Educate project team members about client strategies and ensure that they execute them.
- Work closely with Vice President to annually review company marketing literature including brochures, mailers, website, print material and photographs to keep them current.
- Work closely with Vice President to create and maintain profiles on all major projects including project descriptions, photographs and feedback from customers and engineers on our performance.
- Work closely with Vice President to plan, develop, coordinate and supervise business development and marketing efforts for the company.
- Work in conjunction with the pre-construction department on the development of proposals and presentations.
- Responsible for overseeing operations of work sold.
- Work with Operations in developing better ways on delivering project information in the form of turnovers, buyout, design information, specification review, project close-outs, identifiable exposures, man-loading chart, lessons learned and insight on projects.
- Prepare designs with assistance of Design Engineers and develop estimates.
