Product Manager Electric Vehicle
Have you thought about what it would feel like to lead a software development team that is building products that pioneer the adoption of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure?
We are looking to hire an experienced Software Product Manager with a true passion for coding, building web-based platforms and mobile apps from inception to completion. We expect you to be both a self-reliant Senior Software Engineer and a leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to support our existing and future products development. This position requires you to have the capability to build a software team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will also work cross-functionally to achieve goals.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for detailed product specifications of existing and future web platforms and mobile apps. We expect you to be familiar with the UI/UX design process, architecture, development, testing and deployment of both web and mobile products.
Spearhead a full product roadmap for a software product, and drive and track the implementation with the supporting team.
Collaborate with the business development team to evaluate integration opportunities between our platforms and other software products used in solar and EV charging space.
We are seeking a Software Product Manager who has:
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
Proven development experience in key programming languages/technologies: Python, JavaScript, Node.js, C/C++, PHP, SQL, LAMP, TensorFlow, Keras, Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Amazon Web Services, etc.
Experience pulling product metrics directly from the database using SQL.
Proven experience managing the entire software development lifecycle for web platforms and mobile apps for both back-end and front-end
3 to 7 years of experience in software product management
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal,
High level of comfort with ambiguity and fast-pace environments
It would be a huge plus if you have one or more of the following:
Prior experience developing software platforms in solar or EV charging space.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
Influenced cross functional groups
Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
