MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR (HVAC)
Currently seeking to hire a Mechanical Estimator. The Estimator is pivotal to this by estimating the costs of constructing new commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, analytical thinker, who thrives in both team and solo settings.
Responsibilities:
Review Specifications, RFP, Basis of Design and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
Performs estimating process daily, including take-off’s, obtaining quotations from subcontractors & suppliers
Preparing the proposal and other bid return documentation.
Use of computerized estimating software.
Support other department personnel as required.
Requirements:
3-5 years of estimating experience in the HVAC mechanical contracting industry.
High level proficiency in Gordian Estimating Software.
Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and communication skills.
Proven track record of success in fast-paced, deadline driven environments.
