Job Details:
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, this person will be a subject matter expert in the design and fabrication of pressure vessels and static equipment. This would include a specialization in heat exchangers, high temperature processing equipment, boilers, piping, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Support Design and fabrication execution for high temperature pressurized equipment
- Help and lead design of projects (all size projects) that include exchangers, boilers, furnaces, piping, and any other high temperature equipment
- Understand, review, and implement technical requirements to suite project needs
- Perform modeling for any piping systems
- Provide supporting to design, project managers, engineering and operations
- Work closely with end customer to fine tune and understand the complexities of their needs
- Testing, root cause analysis, investigation failures, etc.
- Mentor junior engineers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree is required. Ph. D is preferred
- Prior experience within the processed gas space is highly preferred
- 10+ years of mechanical design
- 8+ years of prior experience with static or pressurized equipment / vessels
- Ability to travel as needed
