Senior Accounting Analyst
Bethlehem, PA
Role:
As a Senior Accounting Analyst, this person will be responsible for month end closing, financial support to manufacturing sites, inventory valuation, costing, variance analysis, as well as proactively finding efficiencies and solution suggestion to accounting improvements. This will be a heavy data driven position for reporting purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month end close
- Perform inventory valuation and costing analysis; Perform and evaluate standard costing
- Manage all manufacturing master data as well as respective reporting within ERP System
- Oversee manufacturing sites and plant reporting, month end close, controls, costing, etc.
- Help drive cost efficiencies, process improvements, business planning, profit and loss metrics, etc.
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, etc.
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting of finance
- 6+ years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment
- CPA or master’s degree is a plus
- Ability to travel in the future as needed; typically, under 10%
