Job Details:
Tax Manager/Senior Manager
Role:
As a Tax Manager, you'll be reporting to a Director of Tax and responsible for the day to day tax operations and management of staff. This is highly visible position with the executive team that requires a strong federal and state income tax skill set.
Responsibilities:
Lead tax efforts for the organization including federal, state, and local tax returns
Assist executive suite in developing and implementing tax planning as well as modifying policies and procedures
Prepare year-end provision calculations and footnote disclosures (ASC 740)
Be the point of contact for all outside vendors/auditors, any tax related issues or questions both internally and externally as well as be the subject matter expert on any changes in federal, state, and local laws
Oversite and supervision of all income, franchise/net worth, property, and sales/use taxes.
Mentor, train, and develop staff
Special Projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required
CPA or Master's degree (Or both) are highly preferred
The ability to work with all levels of employees
Prior experience with ASC 740 is required
