Compliance Engineer – Robotic

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be required as assigned)

    Initiate, take ownership, and complete technical projects leading to new or improved products or processes, for current programs, and next generation programs.
    Design and develop processes to optimize efficient process flow, reduce process or product variability, improve process capability, and improve employee safety.
    Work closely with R&D to develop new manufacturing processes and ensure those processes are robust, cost efficient and ready for high volume production.
    Prepare well written and technically correct product development design control documentation.
    Seek and implement process improvements within Manufacturing.
    Develop, verify, and validate products from process development to successful commercialization.
    Develop process improvements for high efficiency and cost effectiveness.
    Research and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and contribute to cost reduction.
    Train and support production personnel during transition of new products to production.
    Participate in process improvement projects to improve product quality, decrease cost, and improve product performance.
    Communicate business and technical needs, status, results, and observations to operating, technical and business teams.
    Identify and troubleshoot process-related issues.
    Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT Robotics Quality Management System to ensure product quality and support regulatory compliance.
    Understand and adhere to the Robotics Quality and EHS policies.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)

    BS in an Engineering discipline such as mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum of five years’ experience.
    Experience in leading highly technical projects in a cross functional environment.
    Preferred experience with Lean.
    Experience working in a structured design process such as ISO9000 or FDA QSR, knowledge of regulatory approval process and requirements.
      Excellent computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office and proficient
