Electrical Controls Technician (PLC/DDC)
Premier Automation Systems Integrator seeks Controls Technician with systems integration experience within process controls and/or building automation system (BAS)/building management system (BMS) experience:
- Associate's in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred
- Experience with industrial automation processes and industrial controls such as PLC’s/HMI’s/SCADA/AC & DC Drives, VFD
- Design CAD drawing package generation including wiring schematics and mechanical panel layouts
- Strong troubleshooting background
- Commissioning equipment
- Process instrumentation & electrical systems
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, test electrical control systems
- Test system panels; Design control panels
- P&ID's
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Schneider Electric experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and redline electrical schematics
- Ability to terminate and verify proper wiring terminations
- Ability to use a multi meter to troubleshoot & correct issues with electrical & control circuits, instrumentation, drives
- Data Centers, Combined Cooling Heat and Power, Cogen Plants, Industrial HVAC, Central Plant Utilities, Food & Beverage, Water/Wastewater, Pulp & Paper industry experience
- I/O checkouts & identifying, diagnosing, and correcting problems that arise
- Team player
- Great communicative skills
- Ability to travel 0-10%
