Job Details:
QUALITY MANAGER
NJ-based manufacturer of cosmetic and personal care products is proactively searching for a Quality Manager. The Quality Manager is responsible for overall quality assurance within the company. The position will continuously review company processes and procedures, SOPs, and capabilities in order to sustain the most compliant, cost effective, and efficient methods to run the department.
DUTIES:
Assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing process compliance with cGMP and ISO standards and revising/developing new processes
Maintains and improves product quality by managing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits
Oversees the CAPA program, helping to drive implementation of corrective actions and performs verification of effectiveness
Oversees the document control program
Oversees the training program
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management in cosmetic, personal care or pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred. Contract manufacturing experience very helpful.
BS in chemistry or science related field.
Strong working knowledge of cGMP, ISO, and FDA regulations
Experience in the personal care or cosmetic industry is essential.
Excellent Microsoft Office, documentation, communication and organizational skills
Must have strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Knowledge of quality systems, industry standards, and safety
