Job Details:
PROJECT MANAGER - GEOTECHNICAL
Northern NJ engineering firm seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience managing earth engineering projects.
Responsibilites:
Developing and completing subsurface investigation programs including, but not limited to, subcontractor coordination, field observations and documentation, conducting field testing, and sample collection and transport
Characterizing soils and rock and assigning lab testing
Geotechnical engineering analysis and design
Project proposal and engineering report preparation
Managing client expectations
Budgeting daily and ongoing activities as well as invoicing
Marketing including client interaction and follow-up and development of a client database
Skill/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university; MS preferred. Other Geo-science undergraduate/graduate degrees also considered
5-10 years of related experience in Ground Engineering
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or actively registered as a Professional Engineer (PE).
