Systems Manager
My client has a full time opening for a Systems Manager. This is a leadership role that will work closely with various technical teams including hardware, software, and networking. Client is seeking someone that is polished, positive attitude and interpersonal skills to work with various cross functional teams. Role will involve the following:
- Management of Systems Administration teams
- Budgeting, hiring, staff evaluation
- Knowledge and experience with capacity planning, security, patch management, backup and restore, disaster recovery
- Work with internal technical teams to ensure quality of technical services and efficiency
- Vendor relationship management including contract negotiation
- Evaluate new hardware and software for implementation
- Best practices
- Must have sound knowledge of Active Directory, Sharepoint, MS Office etc
- Experience with SAP and Oracle is a plus
