R&D Manager - Food Freezing & Chilling
My client is looking expand their team in Bridgewater, NJ.
Responsibilities for this job include but are not limited to:
- Through demonstrated technical leadership drive the development of new industrial gas applications for the Food Freezing, Chilling and Beverage market
- Lead the commercial technology development program responsible for developing a platform of technologies/solutions for customers in the Food and Beverage sectors
- Prepare performance specifications and project plans for new commercial technology process and equipment. Support engineering of new commercial technology
- Provides technical recommendations and supporting statements in marketing documentation and exhibits
- Lead high performing team. Develop team of industry specific subject matter experts in to include safety, quality and environmental regulations
Qualified candidates should have a background in the following:
- Strong technical background in Cryogenic processes, thermodynamics, heat transfer; industrial equipment and process development
- Business Acumen, fundamental understanding of business cases
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in managing a technical team.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience with processes used in the Food Freezing, and Chilling industries. Beverage industry is a plus
